Wonderful Toraja – Bugis Tour 

Highlights :

Day 01. Makassar Arrival – Tanjung Bira (LD). 

Arrival at Hasanuddin Airport Makassar, meeting service then leaving to local restaurant to  have lunch. After that direct to Bulukumba Regency it’s about 4 hour drive from Makassar  the capital of South Sulawesi. On pass way at Tanah Beru Village you will have time to visit  the traditional “Phinisi” boat maker, after that continue trip to Tanjung Bira. Upon arrive in  Tanjung Bira, check in hotel, dinner at  the hotel.

Day 02. Bira – Kajang (BLD). 

After breakfast, tour to visit Kajang Village, where we will explore the black culture of the  primitive Kajang ethnic by leadership of Ammatowa. Lunch we will be served on the spot. In the afternoon, back to Tanjung Bira. Dinner at the hotel. 

Day 03. Bira – Bone – Sengkang (BLD).  

After breakfast, check out then continue the trip to Bone Regency, located on the center of the former Bugis kingdom. Lunch will be served in Wattampone. After lunch we will visit the  Museum of Andi Mappasissi where we can find all ancient collections of the former Bone 

Kingdom. After that continue the trip to Sengkang Regency. Arrive in Sengkang, check in  hotel. Dinner at the local restaurant. 

Day 04. Sengkang – Lake Tempe – Tana Toraja (BLD). 

Breakfast at the hotel, check out then visit the weaving center where we can see women 

hand spin and weave traditional Bugis sutera silk clothes. After that continue tour to visit the Lake Tempe where we will have a boat trip to explore the daily life of the local Buginese  fishermen who do live on the floating houses, lunch at local restaurant, after lunch continue  the trip to Tanah Toraja, the trip will pass of mountain Bampa puang. Afternoon arrive in Toraja, check in hotel. dinner at local restaurant.

Day 05. Toraja Fullday Tour (BLD).  

Buffet breakfast at hotel, starting Toraja tour to visit The cliff-side stone grave with wooden  effigies on the balcony at Lemo, the royal family tombs at Suaya, Ke’te Kesu (traditional  wooden carving village and hanging grave), then lunch at local restaurant. After lunch continue the tour  to visit Londa (the natural cave grave) and Marante (is a village where a lot of Tongkonan House, big paddy barns and big rocky hill containing hanging stone graves which the located called “Erong”). Afternoon back to the hotel, Dinner at the local restaurant,  free program. 

Day 06. Toraja Fullday Tour (BLD). 

Buffet breakfast at hotel, starting tour to visit Batutumonga, the highland area and the 

beautiful landscape of 1.355 meters from sea level, Pallawa (The most beautiful village with buffalo horns in front off their houses), Kambira (Baby grave) then lunch at the local 

restaurant after that continue the tour  to visit Lokomata (the boulder grave) then visit Sa’ 

dan To’Barana, the traditional cotton weaving village. Afternoon back to the hotel, Dinner at the local restaurant, free program. 

Day 07. Toraja – Makassar Departure (BL). 

Buffet breakfast at hotel leaving to Sultan Hasanuddin Airport Makassar. Lunch will be served at the local restaurant in Pare-pare, afternoon arrival at Hasanuddin airport for your flight to next destination.

End of the program

Note : * We will try to find out the Traditional Ceremonial for your other visiting, but this option we will be inform you after you arrive in Toraja, because the Traditional Ceremony its not have a fix schedule and not publishing, we should be find out the information after arrival in Toraja.
