Start/Finish : Jayapura airport

Day 01: JAYAPURA arrival – CONNECTING TO WAMENA 

Arrivals at Sentani airport of Jayapura, meeting service and catch flight to Wamena, arrive at Wamena, transfer to hotel for check in. the rest of the day will be your own program. 

Day 02: WAMENA – KURIMA – KILISE (B,L,D)

Having Breakfast at hotel, then drive an hour to Kurima district in the south of Baliem valley. From here start your trekking 3-4 hours to Kilise village with Papua Adventure’s team such as guide, cook and some porters who will help and carry your bags. Afternoon meet with local people and learn their daily life. Overnight have at Kilise traditional house.

Day 03: KILISE – WAMAREK (B,L,D)

 After take a breakfast, see the traditional dance of Dani people and other activities. Noon continue our trek to next village of Wamarek with spectaculars view. Slippery way you may find but your porters will escort. Papua adventure’s cook will served your dinner at Wamarek village. Overnight at school. 

Day 04: WAMAREK – WESAGALEP (B,L,D)

Today continue trekking altogether about 5-6 hours passing through suspension bridge then high-up to reach waterfall area where your cook and  porters prepare simple lunch. After lunch continue trekking up to reach Wesagalep village for your overnight stay at School.

Day 05: WESAGALEP – PUKAM (B,L,D)

Breakfast and hike up to Pukam village thru moss rain forest and rivers. Trek will be about 5 hours, afternoon join with local people and you may learn more about Dani life and cultures. Meals and overnight at school or teacher’s house of Pukam villages.

Day 06: PUKAM – WUSEREM (B,L,D)

 Trekking up-and down through out the trail to the way experienced with daily activity by the local tribe passing rain forest with it is moss and way down to river where you have lunch provided side of the river. Your trekking today will take about 7-8 hours to get Wuserem village for your night stay at local church or school.

Day 07: WUSEREM – SYOKOSIMO – YUARIMA (B,L,D)

Today follows regular path down until Syokosimo cause today is easy trekking but the landscape is very beautiful and really marvelous we never boring stay in this area with it is wind blows very hard. Lunch serve near Mugi river. Afternoon continue to Yuarima village thru rain forest. Overnight at Yuarima village. 

Day 08: YUARIMA – UGEM (B,L,D)

After breakfast, continue our trek about 4-5 hours to Ugem village through Dani sweet potatoes garden. Today you do not see Dani traditional house a long the way before you arrive in the village for Dinner and overnight stay at Head village house. Lunch will be make it side of Mugi river and you may soak your aching bones in the river again.

Day 09: UGEM – SEIMA– SOGOKMO – WAMENA (B,L)

After had breakfast, safari trekking with our team to Sogokmo about 4-5 hours and you can enjoy spectacular view a long the way until Seima village. Lunch we can served in the spring water and you may take a bath in this small river. Arrive at Sogokmo by car transfer to Wamena town for dinner and overnight stay. 

DAY 10 : WAMENA – JIWIKA (PIG FEAST AND DANCE) (B)

After having breakfast, drive to small villages in the north of Baliem Valley and join with Dani people, enjoy the Dani traditional dance with earth cook on hot stones. This performance will be taken about 4 -5 hours, Afternoon see others Dani village 

DAY 11: WAMENA-JAYAPURA- DEPAPRE-TANAH MERAH (B,L,D)

Breakfast and take flight to Jayapura, on arrival drive an hour to Depapre of southern part of Jayapura, then by boat to Tanah merah area. Here you may enjoy the clean beach for swimming and snorkling. Grill fishes will be served for your meals. Overnight at tent near beach. 

DAY 12: TANAH MERAH – JAYAPURA (B,L,D)

Half day snorkeling and explore around beach. Having lunch under the Sago trees and afternoon return to hotel for accommodation and having dinner o/n Ratna Hotel or similar 

DAY 13: JAYAPURA TOURING (B,L,D)

Breakfast at hotel then visit Anthropology museum, Sky line for panorama to Yotefa bay, Hamadi beach to see the remain of second world war. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch continue drive to north of Jayapura to see the fishermen house and surrounding. Afternoon drive back to hotel for take a rest and having dinner o/n Ratna Hotel or similar 

DAY 14: JAYAPURA – DEPARTURE (B) 

After having breakfast, free at leisure until the time proceed to the airport for your next.

Important:    For foreigner, who visit our lovely Papua (Irian Jaya), need arrange traveling permit. So, please send us the document of traveling permit at least a week before clients arrival of Jayapura as: 2 pieces photo with size 3x4cm/4x6cm + copy of passport + copy of Visa + copy of Immigration card )white card.
